Issuance & Delivery of Contract Notes/ Daily and Monthly Statements
Dear Valued Client,
The Bank will be phasing out the issuance of physical contract notes, daily and monthly statements ("statements") with effect from 1st July 2022. In line with the Securities Commission Technical Note No. 2/2017 issued on 25 August 2017, we are writing to advise you on the channels and options available to you to obtain electronic contract notes, daily and monthly statements stated below:
Online Trading Clients
- The delivery mode for online clients will be defaulted as "Email". Hence, please ensure that email address you provided is your current email address for all email correspondences.
- For online client who has earlier opted for delivery mode via "Post", your account will be automatically defaulted to "Email" with effect from 30 June 2022.
- Additionally, you are also able to view your statements via https://www.rhbtradesmart.com or https://www.rhbinvest.com/.
Offline Trading Clients
- You may register for email statements by submitting an Updating of Client’s Particular Form download here to your Dealer’s Representatives ("DR") or RHB Investment Bank ("RHBIB") Branch before 30 June 2022; and/or
- You can also sign up and activate online trading via the online trading platform i.e. https://www.rhbtradesmart.com or https://www.rhbinvest.com/. This will allow you to view and/or download the statements as your delivery mode will be defaulted as "Email".
- If you choose to continue to receive statements via "Post", the Bank will be charging a fee of RM 10 on every half yearly basis and the said fee will be debited into your trading account maintained with RHBIB.
